Boca man joins Forgotten Soldiers Outreach board

Arthur Snow, director of tennis at the Country Club of Boca Raton, was one of four named to the board of directors of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.

Known also as ForgottenSoldiers.org, the nonprofit organization is committed to sending out monthly “We Care” packages to U.S. service members overseas.

Also named to the board were Donald Lanman, vice president of First State Bank of Florida, who also serves on the board of the Area Agency on Aging and Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission; Chuck Debevec, aka Chuckie “D,” a Florida Keys radio personality and Elizabeth Varian, a webmaster for hire.

FSO also chosen three new members to its honorary board:  Circuit Court Judge Richard I. Wennet of the Palm Beach County 15th Judicial District; Florida Keys radio personalities Dougie Hitchcock of Clear Channel Radio Thunder Country 100.3 FM and Captain Cal Sutphin of Reelin’ in the Keys Program. 

They join the other honorary members, including Major General Wayne P. Jackson, SSGT Walter Brown, Specialist Brian Desantis, Senator Ted Deutch, Senator Jeff Atwater, U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler, Mrs. America Touch of Class Catherine Hecker, State Rep. Adam Hasner, R-Delray Beach, former Delray Beach Mayor Jeff Perlman, World War II Nurse Colonel Banna Ghioto, former Vietnam POW Bill Arcuri, local businessman Bill Ruggiero, national country music artist Amber Leigh and Betty Thomas of the Condo News.
